Even for her, it was a first, and she had gone further than she ever thought she would. Worn down by days with an indifferent, selfish husband, Ayaha registered on a mama-katsu site out of curiosity after a friend's recommendation; mama-katsu is a Japanese compensated-dating practice, the mirror image of papa-katsu, in which an older woman dates and financially supports a younger man, with dedicated apps appearing in Japan as early as 2018. Through the site she met a man, and with him she ended up making a one-time mistake with her body. Fearing that going further would be dangerous, Ayaha treated it as a one-time thing and never looked back on that past. But that same man now stood right in front of her, as her daughter's boyfriend. She tries to pretend it never happened and tells him that he is her daughter's boyfriend and that what happened back then must be forgotten, yet she is forced to realize that for him, too, that encounter had kept smoldering as something he could never forget: the warmth she had tried to forget, his kindness, and then a pleasure so deep she felt like she would drown in it, something she had never gotten from her husband. When the feelings she had locked away were pressed back against his chest once more, she could no longer hide the ache swelling inside her womb.
