Adult animation distributor Pink Pineapple has formally announced an upcoming OVA adaptation of the visual novel Gals Fiction, a series deeply immersed in gyaru subculture and school romance. Produced by animation studio Seven with Kazuhiro Ohara directing, the project is initially slated for a single OVA release, though production trends strongly suggest follow-up episodes are on the horizon. The plot centers on Hatsune Nijou, whose fascination with glamorous gyarus was first sparked during childhood by his best friend's mother, eventually evolving into full-blown crossdressing as he transforms himself into his own ultimate female ideal. Prompted by an encouraging message from his younger sister Tsukune about her high school abandoning strict dress code policies, Hatsune embraces his unapologetic lifestyle, returning home and transferring into her classes to kick off a wild school experience alongside open-minded gyarus who fully welcome his feminine persona.
